FedEx 3rd-qtr earnings fall 6 pct on high oil prices and slow US economy, beat Wall St. views

FedEx says its fiscal third-quarter earnings fell 6 percent on high oil prices and a slow U.S. economy, but beat analysts' expectations.

Memphis, Tennessee-based FedEx Corp. says it made $393 million (euro250.45 million), or $1.26 per share, versus $420 million, or $1.35 per share in the year-ago quarter.
