COLONIE -- A searchable online index of homes for sale in the Capital Region, complete with links to maps and detailed information on neighborhoods and school districts, was launched Friday by Capital Region Multiple Listing Service Inc. and the Times Union.
The Web site, called HomePort, is accessible through the Electric Times Union at http://www.timesunion.com/crmls/.
The alliance of 2,223 real estate agents and the newspaper has converted the massive 10-county MLS listing book of one- and two-family homes into online data and photographs searchable by 13 different criteria. Addresses are not included. …
