Felon's money going to charity; Clinton, Gillibrand, other Democrats quick to part with Norman Hsu donations.(Main)

Some top New York Democrats on Thursday were rushing to return or donate to charity money they got from convicted felon and fugitive Norman Hsu.

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, U.S. Rep. Kirsten Gillibrand, Gov. Eliot Spitzer and Attorney General Andrew Cuomo were among those who had gotten money from the fugitive fundraiser who was quickly becoming a poster-child for what Republicans cast as Democrats' fundraising excess.
